Our journey
From Watermelon Tecnologia to Wattek Solutions
- 2013
Starting out in Brazil
We founded Watermelon Tecnologia as a pioneering venture builder, dedicated to creating, investing in and accelerating startups. This is where we began building our skills in innovation, technology and new business development.
- 2019
Entering the European market
We began our international expansion by opening our operation in Portugal. Entering the European market also marked the start of a business transformation, with a growing focus on services and on building technology solutions for companies.
- 2025
Expanding to northern Portugal
We extended our presence in Portugal by opening a new office in Porto's historic centre. This step strengthened our ties to the Portuguese market and to one of its main technology ecosystems, with a high concentration of companies, startups and specialised talent.
- 2026
A new identity for a new chapter
We evolved from Watermelon Tecnologia to Wattek Solutions, an identity that reflects how our business has changed and strengthens our position as a technology company focused on technical expertise, reliability and delivery. With Portugal as our priority market, we are also preparing to expand into Spain and sharpening our focus on mid-sized and large organisations.
